They can't be mathematically, but if Oxford lose on Tuesday against Wrexham, then Charlton will be 6 points clear with only 2 games left for Oxford to play.

If it helps, Boro lost to Portsmouth and only got a draw today and so are no longer realistically in contention for second place.
We are a point clear of Southampton, drew with Boro and are keeping ahead of Millwall.
Of course, it would be better to be in Coventry's position and have it sewn up already, but losing at Portsmouth was disappointing. A point at home against Boro isn't that bad.
We now have two lower teams away to get results against. As with any Championship matches, it won't be easy but we need to do the business ... unless Stoke and Bristol City help us out in the meantime! | |
