The only player I'd be interested in from Leicester is Souter.

Given that this was the first time I have watched Leicester intently, i.e. not just having it on in the background like a lot of other games I have on, it really is not difficult to see why they are where they are. I think, tonight, we actually saw the ceiling in terms of their performances this calendar year as well.

Choudhury had a good game and is a great player.

I wouldnt touch a single one of those wasters. They either lack the effort, the mentality or the courage. All tainted tbh.

Souter has been out for about 18 months, so he's not as tainted as the rest. Big question marks over how well he's recovered from massive injury issues, but that was a great performance, considering that was his first game back for so long.

Monga was really bright as a sub, definitely worth taking.

I’d go with this, on a loan back arrangement.

I can’t see many players there are going to see Premier League teams interested.

He’s the young centre back whose head we hoofed everything on to vs Fleetwood in the dark days of Lambert (just before Covid), he was on loan to Fleetwood from Stoke at the time.

Man City wanted him, he signed a pro deal with Lesta on the promise of first team games. Suspect he will be off, he'd be a great pick up for us but I suspect that maybe unlikely.

Yeah, he'll be a pretty low risk for a top six Premier League team. £5m would probably do the job, loan him out for a couple of years, and hope he makes the grade.

Monga looked pretty good for a 16 year old when he came on.

Yeah, how totally ridiculous to consider signing the Championships young player of the season!

What an odd take!

Hahaha what an absolute joke that that was deleted. Pathetic. Just because it involves him, someone who doesn’t have a sense of humour. Boring old….

If that's you level of humour then no wonder you're a such a fool on here. Deliberate targeting of other posters to start arguments is one of the main things you do on here.

That's what's really pathetic.

Surely no club would ever think they could survive in the prem by building a championship all stars team. That would just be silly.

I don't think anyone is denying that our "buy the best of the Champ" tactic didn't work too well, last time we got promoted. That doesn't mean we should ignore any of the best players of this league! Just don't build a team completely made of them.

Or if on analysis the ideal players for a Premier League squad build are deemed to be in the Championship now, buy them anyway, because it's not as simple as '"buy the best of the Champ" tactic didn't work too well, last time we got promoted'.

It’s a well known joke/meme all over the internet in response to a comment like yours. Would’ve replied to anyone with it, an pretty sure 99% of people would see the funny side.
