Depends on what sort of threat McKenna thinks QPR offer. If it's long, high balls, Greaves at LB & Kipre CB. If they have a nippier winger, Johnson at LB, Greaves (who's been playing really well) & O'Shea at CB. |  |

Although I would say, Jacob Greaves as a flying full back has impressed me twice this season, at Coventry away he was outstanding, and West Brom again I thought he was strong, early in the game he put two crosses into a dangerous area you are looking for a poacher to be on the end of. |  | | |

Yep...plenty of times in the 2nd half he was put under pressure, on the ball, in tight spaces, and got out well. And, as you say, slung a couple of very decent crosses in which would have been finished/anticipated by a half-decent striker! |  |

I'm fine with Greaves at left back but the issue is that Kipre comes into the side. And he fills me with dread when the ball is bouncing around our penalty area. |  |

Kipre looked clumsy & ponderous on Saturday. Maybe he's lost a bit of sharpness though being out?
He's effective at dealing with long ball dross, which I doubt we will get at Southampton & if he's playing next season in the PL, we won't pick up many points. | |

He shifts incredibly well for a big man, long stride, very powerful, but what is really bizzare is I have never thought of him as been a quick CB, I've always associated that more to O'Shea to be honest.

He does seem strangely faster running up and down the flank than he does centrally keeping pace with strikers stride for stride.
If we do opt for a kind of 3-4-2-1 hybrid in the PL next season, I hope there's still a chance for him to compete for the LCB berth. | | | |

Takes longer to get the ball under control than Davis.
Several attacks lost momentum when he got the ball as we had to wait for him to control it whereas Lief would have been away. |  |
