Same guy who made the £9m donation that came to light at the end of last year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/art

And he’s not the only one who’s been courting Farage. One of Trump’s former crypto advisors and close associate of another of Trump’s advisors jailed for Russian-linked corruption has also donated.

Strangely, at the same time Farage seems to have been lobbying the BOE to deregulate crypto in the UK which would make riskier ‘investments’ easier in a currency notoriously known as a common target for money launderers. https://www.cityam.com/nigel-f

Gosh, I wonder if the two could be linked.

Yep, he’ll screw them and the rest of us over without batting an eyelid. People have already been duped by him once and I’ve no idea why they think it’s a good idea to go back for more. He’s a complete fraud.

As with Trump, Brexit and austerity, as long as the 'right' people get hurt, they'll make all sorts or mental leaps to justify their support despite it making their own lives actively worse.

This is the bit I just can't get my head around Swanners.
Farage preys on the fears of some of the working class as he needs their vote.
That's where that relationship ends.
He doesn't have a working class bone in his body and will drop those who voted for him quicker than you can say "balls".
He has no interest in the working class whatsoever. He is only interested in money and influence.
In some ways I feel for those who think he is the solution. If he is, what the f@ck is the problem.
This is BCWYWF on steroids. A lot of people are going to be very disappointed.

"I don't want to be like everyone else. That's why I'm a mod, see?"

They won’t be disappointed - they are the same ones who voted for Brexit and cannot bring themselves to admit that it has caused the UK harm. Instead of holding their hands up they simply say ‘if Brexit was actually implemented’ or such like.

Nothing is ever their fault and they will always find someone else to blame rather than their own inadequacies or bad decisions.

Imagine the media uproar if this was a Labour politician. Or tbh even a tory.

The different standards of accountability that applied to reform are ridiculous.

He pretended he knew and mourned the death of convicted paedophile Ian Watkins for about £100, just imagine the depravity he'd be willing to stoop to for £5m. I know we're not meant to say this but I don't really care anymore, anyone thinking of voting for Reform is a complete fecking idiot. You're giving your life savings to that nice Nigerian prince who's trying to wire his $20,0000,000 inheritance to the UK and desperately requires your assistance.

Exactly this, exactly.

They are already angry (not unfairly in many ways) and channeling that, with the help of the usual horrible grifters, to a specific bogeyman. They are never ever going to be persuaded from that position, there is huge comfort in blame and othering. The blame just moves on, or accumulates further, to the woke leftist wishy washy sell outs who point out that maybe it's not working and doomed to failure, or making there lives worse. And facts won't help either. Yay populism.

Incredible how, given that he's keen to make life worse for anyone who isn't wealthy, white cis hetero male you'd think that the 'be kind' crowd would hate him rather than be desperately keen for him to be indulged and entertained at Portman Road, for example.

The genuine weird bit is that there is absolutely no engagement, deflection, counter, or even beligerence from the 'supporters' of reform. It's the best kind of cult possible for Farage. They are absolutely blind and deaf to anything against him or the party because they don't engage beyond the simplest of vote winning spoon fed rhetoric and sound bite.
Tories and labour for better or worse at least have supporters, detractors, counter points, even whataboutery, but there is not even the slightest need for that when it comes to reform. Just 'I know what I know, vote reform'. Step back away and then 'don't do politics'.
