I would take Delap (if possible), Lankshear and/or Vipotnik for sure.
Hackney or Downes would be OK but if we can do better I would be pleased.

Ipswich Town are a premier league club aiming for sustainability, these are championship players, we need premier league level players to survive one season then develop from there.
We need to get with the narrative as a fan base, if we want to be a 'PL club then we need to move away these high end championship players and look into international markets and create new recruitment networks in order to find new talent.

if we are going to target a Lankshear and/or Vipotnik we might as well jack it in before we even start the campaign.
The recruitment targets need to mid PL level to give us any chance, they can be from anywhere in world as long as they are at that level and experienced, really the players need to have champions league or Europa league backgrounds too where possible.
My understanding is we have a transfer budget to rival other clubs, so that is not a problem.
Brobbey who plays for Sunderland, from Ajax, has played a lot of games in Europe and international for Holland was signed for 20m.
That is probably where we need to be aiming for in terms of profile, you could argue Akpom fits this mould so you never know really if they are going to work out. [Post edited 3 May 7:40]

Think people underestimate how good Azeez is, great feet, close control, pace, proven he can certainly chip in with goals, ticks the Prem boxes for me and he will be playing Prem football next season, think how important Summerville has been for West Ham, in a struggling side, played in the Championship remember.. Exactly, you can buy a Hackney and Azeez once you are staying in the league, these are development players not first team starters, at that level.
