I'm actually the opposite. 2nd chance with us! As it stands I can't see anyone in the prem taking a serious punt, albeit that could change throughout the season and if he manages to keep us up.
I think either way, he will leave at the end of next season, either A. Done all he can and wants a new challenge, B. Kept us up and wants to progress in a further established club.

Unless something we dont want happens and this is football we should be looking forward to 10 years. I know everything frequently changes in football but hes already proven capable of building mutiple teams. Its right to look in 1 year cycles to keep the right short term focus but in reality you dont change the recipe on either side unless you absolutely need to. Football management can be a long career but its riddled with lots of short term fails on both sides. Kmck is on the way to building a great dynasty.

Think it was clear at the start of the season Mckenna was unhappy with the speed of the recruitment. Was exactly the same last year when we went in to the first few games with Delap and Al Hamadi as our striker options, remember him seeming a bit frustrated in a few pressers.
I'm feeling pretty confident that he will stay but we have to give him a serious Premier League squad if we want to keep him long term. I think we will, I like the noise coming from the club about learning lessons from last time. | |

Chelsea will go for either a highly-experienced manager or a company man that will do their bidding, I don't see him being top of Man U's shortlist, and it sounds like Iraola to Palace is almost done.
