I’d never miss a game because of him but the thought of his smug face on the bus and him being interviewed later is what put me off of going today. We didn’t see him for weeks but there he was on Saturday running along with the trophy before any player had touched it. That summed him up perfectly. The egotistical bit I don’t mind as much but now knowing for certain that he’s dishonest and will lie to us when doing so was only for his benefit and not that of the club, is why I’m disappointed he’s still here.

Having said this, we need to move on from the Farage incident. It looks as if he’s ridden that storm out so will stay. I’ve gone from not particularly liking him as a man but respecting what he’s done for our club to now just looking forward to the day he leaves. The damage for a sizeable minority of our fanbase (it’s not a majority, regardless of what some on here will say) is done but for many it won’t feel properly like “our” club again until he’s gone.

Anyway, that’s enough, probably too much negativity on a day and weekend to savour.

He isn't going anywhere but this is a huge offseason for him.

He has to give Mckenna a proper squad he can compete with.

If he had any self awareness he'd let McKenna and the players have their moment instead of pushing himself front and centre like he didn't throw a massive curveball at them at a key time in the season.

CopfordBlue's post is a perfect summing up of the situation.

Well said.

I've moved on from the Reform absolute nonsense he put us and the club through but he's got to rebuild a reputation from scratch with me. It's difficult to knock the success he has brought us so I think you have to separate the things. He has my thanks for the hard work and success but he's spoilt it.

He really should have stayed out of the limelight for these celebrations and showed humility. It's just not his character.
