Me neither. He just doesn’t impress me. Add in his lack of discipline and that he couldn’t wait to get away from here its a ‘good luck, have a great career’ from me. He isn’t good enough for the EPL anyway.

We need to sign players who will improve our current first team; not players as back-up to our current first team. We need better players and maybe Matusiwa will be back-up. |  |

Aidan Morris is the perfect player to sign if we are down by January to go back up again, and so on and so forth. There is a pattern forming here.

I know nothing about him, despite being at both games, because I rarely know who the opposition players are. But 0 goals from 57 shots and an xG over 3 doesn't suggest he has an eye for goal.
It would nice if we could sign a midfielder who chips in with more than the odd goal. [Post edited 9 May 15:50]

I dont think hes that underrated. Theres been plenty of opportunities for clubs to go in for him yet hes still at Southampton.
For a champ side hes fine.. but not a prem player imo. | |

Divides opinion now but he's a really good player who knows the club and would settle in very quickly.
I think we will have other targets but I'd be absolutely fine bringing Downes back. He's a quality player who will always be a bit underrated because of they type of defensive neat and tidy player he is.
If shopping in the championship I'd have Morris right up there on the list. Suspect we will be looking in Europe or further this window. | |

iIt keeps getting brought up because McKenna tried to sign him in the summer of 2024 and January 2025, so he obviously rates him. | |

I dont think hes not a good player but he’s playing at the level now that hes basically always played at. No other PL or new promoted team has taken him off Soton. Im looking for strength and power in the midfield or someone that can do lots more with the ball like but not necessarily HH. | |
