I doubt there is any truth at all in this, and I for one am looking foward to how he gets on in the prem.
However the joy of last Saturdays result is that we would get an excellent price for him and be in a great position to replace him if needed.

JP comes across as an introvert. Somebody who likes to keep away from the limelight. Nothing wrong at all with that. We are all different.
He’s looked happy enough to me, but if he isn’t and wants away, absolutely fine. He’s done brilliantly for us and I for one would wish him well.
An overriding need for us is to have people here who want to be here. We are in the Premier League now and for the majority of professional footballers it’s where they want to be so it’s not exactly the same situation as last year when Hutchinson started creating. Nor would we lose any £ on him. Quite the reverse.
There will be a lot of nonsense and no doubt some surprise moves. Let’s just enjoy the now and the summer. |  | | |
