For £100 man of the people Nigel Farage was happy to lie and say he knew convicted paedophile Ian Watkins and that he was a good man. Imagine what he'd do for £5m. Terrifying prospect really.

Not the first time he's endorsed a paedophile hoping for something in return.

Makes no difference. The people who vote for this guy won’t give a toss about what he’s done.

The bigotry and corruption are features not bugs for the 'polite discourse please' crowd.

You’re right there - the hate preacher knows that his core support won’t care about this at all. They’ve long since jettisoned their principals when it comes to him.

But the trouble for him is that his core support is probably not large enough to be handed the keys to Number 10. Interesting what happens in the next couple of years.

The lake of fire is certainly not deep enough for him.

That Martin Godwin looks like he could very well be an extremely dangerous member of the free press - certainly justifies hiding five million quid from the taxman, just in case.

Desperate - where 'at the property' was he Nigel. Hiding in your bedroom, or by the front gate?

'A working journalist was waiting politely at my front gate and openly showed my security his identity card'.

I don't get his defense. He says it's nothing to do with him being a politician so he doesn't have to declare it, but that it's because he's a politician that he needs it. Huh?

He’s a frog-faced racist t**t of the highest order, but what’s the problem with him taking a gift and then buying a couple of houses with it? The problem is only that he’s used it for political work with his lobbying to deregulate crypto isn’t it? Or have I missed something? Rich people buying houses is nothing new.

The problem is very much that the donor could and probably does have political intentions, the "gift" is an extraordinary one raising a very obvious suspicion of seeking influence, and it was then not declared when it clearly should have been.

I agree with that about the donor and the need to declare it. We know it was given with conditions attached because Farage started lobbying hard for crypto and its deregulation after he accepted the bri.., er cash. That’s what they should be going after. Spending it on houses is fine and isn’t a conflict of interest.

He’s left that. I don’t think the vile bigotry he was happy to endorse was good for his image

He’s got to be stopped. He’s a Poundland Trump who’s already cost us a ridiculous amount socially and economically and he’ll keep screwing us over for as long as the grift pays.

Except for the fact that he has actively asserted it is all for security because he is so unfairly victimised. So we have a lie on top of a deception if the house stuff is true.
