It would be one thing if there was some sort of area what was set up in advance and some random performed 3-4 songs in the 15 minutes but a half time show like the Super Bowl is an absolute joke. FIFA are destroying the game.

Just to be clear I wouldn't be in favour of any half time show but at least the idea above would not screw up the game.

I'd like to see more of an American theme to the half time show. Either monster trucks destroying smaller cars or the latest version of Evel Knieval attempting to jump over a gang of buses or something similar

Think FIFA would need to get the rules changed with IFAB first.

Law 7 states that the maximum half time break must be 15 minutes. Even one minute more needs the express permission of the referee

No one is "spinning" a world cup heavily tainted by taking place in a rogue state, with appalling prices and a peace prize given to a deranged and dangerous leader. These things are real.

Surely it is inevitable that it will follow a similar format to the SuperBowl for pre-match entertainment and midgame breaks.

EDIT: I also think it would be a big gig for Chris Martin. Surely one of their bigger stars like Grant Holt or even Jan Molby would be available?

I think I heard a while back it’s going to be a half hour half time to enable the show to take place.
I don’t recall these happening before but I’m really enjoying each countries mini trailer/film with the announcement of their squad .. England,Scotland,Senegal,Norway,curaçao, New Zealand I’ve seen so far.
