It shouldn’t have done. The Stockport attacker wasn’t even looking at the defender who appeared to fall over his own feet, knowing he was toast against a player as rapid as that.

It's almost as though the powers that be are trying to get us all more used to VAR, regardless of the level of football, so that they can introduce it everywhere.

The PL had a vote last summer after complaints from Wolves - 19 clubs voted to keep VAR with only Wolves against it.
Surely the vote from each club should have been based on the wishes of the manager / players - and not the board, or CEO. | | | |

There's been a spate of them. I think it has always been a red card, but I don't think players are actually trying to personally attack their opponent, we are in the age of grappling and they are instinctively trying to grab an opponent and on occasion are getting a handful of hair instead of a handful of shirt. | |

What would happen if the players all wore wigs? If one of those was ripped off would the perpetrator be sent off? It’s pulling hair after all.
