The questions over Chairman and CEO combined in one are valid but I think without detailed knowledge on how the ownership/board hold him to account (or an understanding of what O'Leary did on a day to day basis) it's almost impossible for us as outsiders to judge how much power is concentrated in his hands.
On the Director of Football/Technical Director we do have someone in that role - it just has a slightly different title - Director of Football Operations. On the football side we now have 3 x Director level positions - Director of of Football Operations, Director of Performance and Director of Recruitment. The last one in particular was a shift in title from Sam Williams who was a 'Head of' - which seems to be a lower title level in all the Town jobs hierarchy.

And you didn't even read my post properly before responding because you asked me a question on something I already put in my post. He made a terrible judgement/mistake. We are agreed on that. But that's got nothing to do with the silly post and points you are making.
I shouldn't get involved in your ridiculous antics but on the signings given we have had 3 promotions in 4 years I think we can safely say recruitment has been successful (demonstrably). Profit wise you can always be 💯 on that when you sell...seem to have done alright by Delap/Omari/Broadhead/Woolfy sales (I know Woolfy wasn't his acquisition but hard to question the fee he negotiated).
In last 3 windows Azon, Jaden, Nunez, Mehmeti, Azon values have all increased. Furlong and Kipre were also good signings whose values won't increase by virtue of their age.

This has been repeatedly discussed, and I'd say there is no such consensus. Many agree we have much more depth if you compare where we were in June 2024. So, that's no Delap, Hutchinson, O'Shea, ...
That's what you need to consider. People too often compare the team we entered the 2024/25 PL with, not the one we finished the 2023/24 Championship with. Signings haven't begun yet (the window isn't even open). We will know on Sept.1st how the squad going into next season compared with our last venture in the PL.
At the end of the transfer window is when to judge how we look this time compared to last time.

the actual transfers are hit and miss since twojobgate;
however, the issues for me are the reactive nature of it, which effectively gave boro a 9 point headstart before mckenna had the tools he needed.
also, blabbing that he'd put lots of names to mckenna, but he didn't what any of them should stay behind closed doors, unprofessional and undermining to km

Sorry what? That's a pretty out there assessment, the only one who's value will be up is Mehmeti because he was in the last year of his contract when we signed him. And you've got 2 Azon's are you saying his value has doubled?

Sorry what? That's a pretty out there assessment, the only one who's value will be up is Mehmeti because he was in the last year of his contract when we signed him. And you've got 2 Azon's are you saying his value has doubled?
Transfermrkt would beg to differ. And their valuations often appear to be lower than what a player sells for.
