I think this photo highlights how much nicer the original is. No idea why we couldn't keep with the vertical lines. Makes an elite athlete like Dara look out of shape, so god knows what it looks like on an average bloke.

To me that original is one of the most disgusting kits I’ve ever seen. Looks like pyjamas your grandad would wear. Don’t love the new one either.

Each to their own but I’ve haven’t brought a town shirt since I was a kid. Must admit, I’ve never really understood why people get excited about kit releases that are over 15 years old. I’m not thinking about what a pattern on a shirt looks like when I’m watching the game.

I will say last year away one was odd though, never seen us playing in a Liverpool style red before and that looked a bit off but again not really bothered either way. How much can you do with a home shirt, they all look the same really.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

I quite like the shirts. The home one isn’t too messed about with and the away one will look good with the shorts and socks.

But like you, Joey, buying football shirts isn’t something I have ever done. It sounds a bit mean, but you are paying a lot of money for a badge in a bin bag, quality wise. I buy the odd polo or sweat shirt in the sale, hats, mugs and stuff but not the shirts.

Each to their own.

It interesting how peoples’ opinions differ.

There was a whole batch sold which had Bury St Edmunds spelt incorrectly ,altered in the shop by a marker pen and then sold.
This along with my Kevin Beattie signed shirt are prized possessions.

As long as 'Bury St' wasn't spelt 'N', 'O', 'E', 'L', I wouldn't have minded too much.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Top button open. It's the only normal option. Case closed.

PS: I really like the away shirt, and the GK in turquoise is lush.

Whoever we ask, always look so uncomfortable showing off the new kit; they're professional footballers, not professional models!

Agree, little kids waiting for Xmas,
Never seen the attraction of the excitement over a shirt,
To me it's a tick on the calender a day nearer the football starting again,

Seems a bit weird seeing grown men posting selfies of them the day they come out! There’s a bloke on blue Monday that wears his old goalkeeper shirts, what’s next, your name on the back! Again each to their own, I guess I’m just too cool for all that. I’m also a lot more interested in who we are going to sign!
