I always thought he was an unhinged ego-maniac who gets away with a lot of bad decisions because he always has top players to work with, and this tournament has shown no different really.
Wasted a generational chance by trying to hold on for a continental style 1-0. Take your scorer and creativity off and try to defend with 9 at the back.

The only good thing for me was that at least we didn't lose through some godawful refereeing or VAR decision - now that really would have rankled - but through our poorer play/tactics. For which I feel sad, but it's easier to deal with - a shrug of the shoulders and move on (perhaps with a new England manager, but I'm sure Tuchel will learn from that). | |
