I think it's more a case of them hating the fact that we have control over the Falklands/Malvinas, then just hating anything to do with England, as the interviews with some of their fans pre match last night showed. Trust me to those players we were not just another team to beat along the way. They’re all brought up to hate us more than any other.
That squad also get away with a lot because of having the greatest (or one of) the greatest players of all time in their team.
Look at Enzo and his pals singing the songs he sung about Mbappé then being a PL captain during the anti racism weekend the first week of the season in 2024. You really couldn’t make it up.
Their fans regularly still burn and spit on our flag, there’s a video from time square of them doing it just the other night and jumping all over it. Classless

Are you serious? If you are talking about Argentine footballers then of course they have a choice. They don't have to work in England in order to 'build a life', most of them could play anywhere in the World, in fact they could stay in their home land if they wanted and would still earn 10 x the average person and have a very nice life. |  | | |
