I’m in the same postcode, it was bucketloads although I now see blue skies again but it’s certainly welcome

Bwgger all here in the Ipswich-Shotley-Sudbury Golden Triangle. Just enough to slightly dampen the patio.

I was very excited about the prospect when I woke up, but all that's been dampened is my ardour.

Very light drizzle when I took the dog to the park at 8.15.

Now going for a run, 70% chance of rain in the next hour. Running in rain in the summer is actually quite nice.

Send it on up to North Yorks please. A bit of fine drizzle for a few hours overnight here has penetrated the soil to a depth of about 0.5mm. Might help reduce wildfire risk a bit I guess.

I live in the midlands, and decided to have a BBQ yesterday. The first one we've had for a couple of months. 5 minutes after lighting the BBQ it started raining. It was light but continued for about 30 minutes, typical! It was lovely standing in it though.

We had another 10 minutes worth in the night too looking at my camera footage, after noticing drops on the car this morning.

Not sure any of that is going to help the garden, but we have no grass (plenty of other foliage, though). We also have no hosepipe ban under Severn Trent water management, so we've managed to keep ours healthy, so far.

Pissed down for half an hour at 9am in IP23.
Sun is out now.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

A bit of drizzle in Guernsey . Not much good for the garden ,but enough to delay flights landing.

This is where I’ll be gutted later when Huntingdon manages to completely dodge it

Run was hot and muggy. No rain.

Although there’s a couple of tiny spots as I write this sitting in the garden with a bottle of water.

Then again as a concert was just getting underway on the sea front.

Rather blustery Carol.
Clearing out the garage and have given away free a fair bit of old gardening equipment that needs a little bit of attention but otherwise it’s decent. Really chuffed that a chap pulled up in a knackered old pickup and took the lot five minutes after putting it out front. Turns out he’s not long started his own little garden maintenance business so gone to a good home 😁👍

Will be watering the garden later much as it pains me to do so.

Yeah, it wasn't here long either. The weather radar tracked our nice downpour east but could see it losing its size as it went.
