Superb yesterday, always available, probing passes, popped up everywhere. He and Lukic becoming a very good partnership.

He's really good. Always has time and space to pick the right pass and keep things ticking over.

Still probably not up to full speed yet either.

I’m a little surprised he isn’t getting more plaudits,

The guy has invisible wing mirrors. His awareness is top class. His balance means if he falls down he seems to bounce back up and still come out with the ball. My favourite signing of the window.

Glad someone posted this.

He looked great. Didnt see him misplace a pass and he seemed to spot danger a mile off.

Very impressed.

I could see the level he plays at even at united when he came on but got put in my box by others at the time on here for saying so.

Watched the game back this morning.
Knowing the scoreline and being able to take it in more calmly (and also importantly having a clear picture and very good town tv commentary vs the shite international feed commentary). There were some things he did that I thought were Lukic yesterday!

He was indeed very good. Maybe should have picked up a runner for their first. But apart from that not a foot wrong and more than made up for it with defensive actions across the game.

Overall across the game our best player. Although for his 60 mins, I think Clarke was a pretty close equal.

Lots of communicating and organising too, can see him taking charge of the midfield

He is some player. Miles better than anything we’ve had in there for years. Decades even.

Disappointing that he let kamada run off him to create the first goal, but other than that I thought he was superb. Does the simple things extremely well

Very tidy, very aware, very intelligent

Am I right in thinking that it was his neat tidy up play that led to the passage of the play with the red card?

Great away day yesterday

He was kinda at fault for their first goal tbh.

Hes on ball work is lovely. The off ball work hopefully will get better when hes worked with his team mates more

You can tell the levels. If Enciso and Palacios play 30+ league games I am pretty sure we stay up.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Yes, and he was quick in letting the ref know just how bad a challenge it was. As did Lukic. nice to have at least a couple of players who know that sometimes you have to play the ref as well as the opposition in this league.

very good, I sometimes mistake him and Lukic though, old eyes and all that.

I do agree with the ref comment… but it really irks me to see players race to the referee after a challenge.. let them just do their job, it will most likely be the same outcome..
That might just be me being old fashioned. The faux outrage is quite tiresome

See also, players brandishing cards. Saw one of the Palace players do it when Lukic got booked, which was about an obvious a yellow card as you could get. I thought such ‘actions’ were banned and could lead to being cautioned themselves?

Yes, I saw the card waving, camera caught it well, assumed the ref missed it. Got away with one there.

Only if Enciso plays wide right and Palacios goes into the floating 10 role, with the current system.
