| Decisions 00:24 - Oct 24 with 1480 views | redrickstuhaart | First goal is clear as day foul on O shea. Why is this not VAR'd? And if it was, where is the transparency. Again? The proper decision there was a foul in the build up and FK to Forest- presumably advantage played, but that you cannot assume that fouls equal each other out in some way and ignore the blatant push. Red card? Correct decisions. Davies clearly covering. | |

He is running at full pelt and gets a shove as he lands. Anyone who has played knows how that works.

| Decisions on 00:49 - Oct 24 with 1339 views | Garv | While I was a mile away in the north upper, I thought O'Shea made a pretty pathetic attempt to buy a foul. And considering the referee had just waived away an appeal from them for a foul on Delap, I don't know why O'Shea thought he'd get it. I'm about to watch it back... I don't understand your mention of transparency by the way? | |

Seen it back. It's more of a foul than I thought, but I still think DOS is trying to be too clever. He's comfortably first to the ball, he should just put it in the stand.

I'm halfway between you. It was a foul, a nicely timed nudge when DOS was in front and looking to decelerate on the ball. So yes, he was looking to try and buy a foul but you can easily view it either way in my opinion.

| Decisions on 08:08 - Oct 24 with 753 views | GlasgowBlue | It wasn’t a foul. Dara tried to buy a soft foul in a very dangerous area. Reminded me of Morsy against Leicester at home when we were last in the Premier League, which also cost us a goal. | |

The frustration for me last night was the inconsistency from the ref - Forest went down under similar challenges a few times in the second half and the ref blew the whistle every time.

That’s the key it’s either always a foul or never a foul, can’t keep changing the benchmark once it’s been set. Forest got a lot of softer fouls than the one on DOS which wasn’t given. Personally I thought it wasn’t a foul on DOS, he made a lot of it.

That’s the point, anyone that’s played knows they’re likely to get a nudge, he tried to play the ball rather than clear it, some refs may have given it, this one didn’t, why gamble on that? Worth noting that no other Ipswich player complained, just DOS, rest of the team went back straight for the KO.

It's the sort of foul you see given every week. And indeed in the same game last night. It isn't shoulder to shoulder, he pushes DOS in the top of his back/back of his shoulder with his hand. Of course DOS could have got there and poked the ball out of play but it doesn't make it less of a foul. Thought the ref was weird all night. Seemed to want to let a lot go most of the time but then had a spell where he gave them loads of the type of fouls he wasn't giving earlier in the game. And how he didn't give the foul by Diop in real time is beyond me!

Yep. He was just a poor ref on the day, really inconsistent and made some really bad decisions.

| Decisions on 11:38 - Oct 24 with 398 views | JammyDodgerrr | In real time i thought it was, but when you watch it back you can see that Dara is expecting it and MGW reads it, and plays it right. We've seen that before from Dara - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. | |

| Decisions on 12:25 - Oct 24 with 326 views | pointofblue | It's the second home game in a row where O'Shea has tried to be cute, got caught out and it has resulted in a goal - indirectly against Fulham. His decision making has left a lot to be desired recently. | |

I didn't see it, but he would have started giving more decisions to Forest after they ran at him bitterly complaining he ignored the Diop/McAtee incident. Just human nature at work. "Oo I missed that, better give them some of what they want".
