The Adidas that made Towns shirts back in the 80s,are not the same Adidas company of today,been thru too many takeovers,buyouts,refinancing etc,
Adidas of today do not release any retro stuff at all,probably because they either dont own the license to anymore,or would have to pay lots of money to those that still do
So Copa fill the gap and produce these nearly but not quite the same as replicas to get around the issue,and as we move into umbro/punch territory some of those distinctiveness issues go away,though youd expect Nike to be hot on protecting anything resembling a classic Umbro kit,as note all the England retro stuff misses out the Umbro badge | | | |

Yeah I've got a large and it's nowhere near as I'm usually a medium.
Seems the shoulders are a bit slim if you ask me and that leads to the problems in sizing. I did ask when I bought it and the person serving just went "yeah some people say [they come up small]". So Planet Blue aren't really warning people either which is a bit odd.
The quality is fairly decent even if £40 still feels a bit steep for what is essentially a glorified knock off. |  |
