It's been increasing over the last week or so.
I went to Aldi today and despite a new clearer system with arrows and chevrons some people were still ignoring it all.
I feel very sorry for the staff in these places. Mind you the signs were very clear about keeping 2m from other customers and staff but some of their staff were ignoring it as well. |  |

Not quite as back as a normal Saturday on the south coast but there is definitely more traffic/people about than last Saturday.
I get the feeling there is a gradual "drift" towards normal business whilst still observing (by most anyway) the 2M rule. |  |

It's saturday.... quite a lot of people are still working and its a chance to get out and do that essential shopping or assist where needed.
Other people have run out of money and are doing a bit of moonlighting
Add in the encouragement from floundering politicians that its ok to go to B&Q and McDonalds etc - little treats that would have killed us all a week ago and its not entirely surprising that more people are going out and about. |  |

Lots more people out and about now and not really that much different to a normal Saturday. People walking two or three abreast on paths without any regard for distancing or people going the other way. 2m also seems to be a thing of the past in queues.
I think it might be getting to the point where it doesn't really matter if the government say it's a lockdown or not in some places.
Obviously this is all anecdotal to this one specific area.

I think we are starting to see the behavioural fatigue. People are just sick of it.
There is a big US community in West Suffolk for the bases. I think the bases are just carrying on so the majority of the traffic is military. [Post edited 25 Apr 2020 15:46]

There are a lot more noises about relaxing and be back to "normal".
Notice in the week B&Q, Taylor Wimpey etc all re-opening and by start of May I think many businesses will be re-opening and ramping up, even on reduced capacity. But as this happens a side affect will be people thinking the situation is less severe and they will start venturing out. |  | | |

Problem with that message is the expression on his face does not match the words.
I had heard this.
Did my usual trip to the greengrocers and then Morrisons today. Had to pop to the cashpoint and pay in some cheques too so was a little later at the supermarket. Everywhere seemed about the same until I got to the supermarket. The car park was much more full but there was no queue to go in. Also no queue to pay which there was about 4 weeks ago (time before last that I went).
However, in store some staff were not keeping their distance from each other. The odd customer (as always) seemed to think 2 m was a lot less distance than I do. There were also 3 men who appeared to be more senior staff stood as a triangle around one end of an aisle having a meeting complaining that they were not letting more customers in and that the queue to come in was too long. When I left it was the length of the store front and a little bit further.
Difficult to say but my own experience is not that anywhere around here has been significantly busier than my few observations of the past few weeks.

Yes a few are making early moves. Some airline has been talking about opening routes out of Luton. Problem there is the need to go to Luton.
I have been buying media space for Q3 and 4 this week, which is dirt cheap presently with the number of brands not investing in marketing, but suspect it’ll ramp up again pretty soon. | |

Totally agree. I've questioned if people are consciously doing it or just going back to their old routines.

I guess people are asking because philosophically the original intention of lockdown was to flatten the curve and avoid the NHS being totally overwhelmed by covid.
The Government have been losing the battle on testing. As we get towards mid Summer and the assumed end of the furlough scheme, it does became important if we are to avoid a worst case scenario recession. | |
