As long as Priti Patel and Diane Abbott team up to do the maths. Fish balls.

You can't just draw a line around the UK and say that those are our fishing waters. There are various patches of sea which are more fruitful for fishermen. Some of them will be in British waters but many others won't. When my dad and grandad were on the trawlers, they'd spend most of their time north of Scotland. To go all that way from Lowestoft speaks volumes about the quantities and values of fish available outside our own seas. The EU rightfully wants access to some of our waters and we want some access to the more profitable of theirs too. And there is also the question of quality/size of fish permissable to keep once caught, especially in relation to future fish stocks. It is not a simple issue like most Brexit morons believe it is, just like everything else. This is why it's taking so much time and another reason Brexit is a stupid fcking idea.
