Journalism aside, I wonder what the neutral would make of this board today 16:54 - Dec 2 with 6097 viewsLockdownleonard

Lots of very aggressive content and much of it quite childish.
Perhaps the association with such content influences the ease with which it can be referred to as a fans forum when considering who is right and who is wrong between PL and his SMT and the fanbase.
I just don’t think it helps.

i'm not sure that wanting your football team to be well-run, vaguely respectful to local media and actually able to compete in the third division is particularly childish. Neither is getting angry about ongoing incompetence, lack of planning and open lying.

As for aggression, if anything, it's been a lot more measured and thoughtful on here these past few days than it has been for a long while.

TWTD is football's Mumsnet.

Try the Millwall forum if you want to see that stuff!

Who was it who linked their thread on Gay Pride or whatever it was? Horrendous.

When you say, 'like mumsnet', presumably you're talking about the whole 'full of loonies, thickos and dullards' thing?

Lambert’s disgraceful behaviour can be seen in another light when fans are asking which clown posters to display in the stadium or at the training ground.
Evans is a highly successful businessman and certainly isn’t going to shift his decision making on the back of such nonsense.
People are shooting TWTD and Phil in the foot with this nonsense.

It's an average effort. You've gone in at 11 when a 2 would've done.

On the footers alt-o-meter, this one gets only two thumbs up. Decent topic, obvious execution.

See me after class.

Concern trolling is so last year.

This is called

Breaking Point

Yes, it has been heated and rambunctious, and likely inappropriate in any other scenario - but when you ban the press that represent us, you ban our gateway to ITFC.

This is as much an assault on us as it is TWTD and Phil.

"Aggressive"? Where? I've always stood against that on here, and despite reading the forum extensively over the last few days, can't say I've seen it - if anything, the forum's totally united behind Phil over Hamban-gate, and it's only your 2 posts that have actually shown aggression & childishness.

You don't half remind me of someone tho.
