That it is one of my pet hates you've identified there. Trying to pass off a bad result as an improved performance just because the previous one was particularly dire. Lambert will be doing this at the press conference no doubt.
Reminds me of that 0-1 at home to Coventry just before the season was suspended last year - three home defeats in a row and all anyone could talk about was how much better the performance was. [Post edited 20 Feb 2021 17:15]

That is correct on both points.
It was certainly an improvement but getting a draw at home only means that we are even less likely to make the playoffs this season whoever the manager is.
It is looking increasingly likely that we will be a third division team again next season when we should never have been a third division team at all but if we had to be then it should have only been for one season. |  | | |
