Gammon is used on here as an insult far less frequently than we see the woke label tossed around to be fair Gav. And to be honest, 'woke' is being used by some as a sly dig basically saying you shouldn't support weirdos like Black folk and The Gays.

People are quick to complain about others on here without being willing to modify their own behaviour. Plus there's an awful lot of persistent low level trolling lately.

These new recruits haven't gone through the required vetting process since our Membership Officer Libby went AWOL. Basically it's less an organised entity these days and now a much looser group of varying individuals. Antifa basically.

Completely agree. The poster I suspect you are thinking of has form in this, so not a surprise.
I've tended to take a read-only approach to this forum over the last couple of years or so due to the single-mindedness and the level of negativity by a *few* posters. It makes it hard to have any sort of interesting debate when all responses are negative name-calling. I may not agree with some posters points of view, but I always welcome the opportunity to learn and see it from another side. Sadly it's becoming a thing of the past on here. |  |
