What exactly are we going to do with Nolan ? 10:31 - Jan 27 with 1576 views | markchips | Asking for a friend as clearly he is making no contribution to the club at all at the moment and it makes sense to pay him off.

What exactly are we going to do with Nolan ? on 10:35 - Jan 27 with 1535 views | Kieran_Knows | As he's currently injured, I think even if the club was to release him, under 'due care and attention' we'd still have to let him do his rehab with us until he is fully fit again. I'm sure that's how it works.

What exactly are we going to do with Nolan ? on 10:43 - Jan 27 with 1448 views | nodge_blue | I always thought Nolan looked like he was trying. Not one of those who gave up. Showed for the ball even if the team wasn't playing that well. Good athlete. And could get a goal. He could yet have a Donacien type resurgence. But I doubt it. If nothing else the injury length doesn't look good for him. So he'll probably leave in the city and if fit sign for Oldham.

Poor man's Lee Martin - pathetic, dropped, briefly effective, ran around a bit and then got injured rather than sent off lots.

What exactly are we going to do with Nolan ? on 10:51 - Jan 27 with 1363 views | MattinLondon | Over the festive period he was playing the role of the ‘Naughty Elf’. The other players would go into the training complex to find out what Nolan had done the night before. On a serious basis he’s injured and a club can’t payoff an injured player as they have a duty of care towards them.

What exactly are we going to do with Nolan ? on 11:27 - Jan 27 with 1212 views | hype313 | Wouldn't be surprised if they came to a mutual decision on his contract. Also, given his position, he has a lot of traffic in front of him so playing time would probably be limited even if he was fully fit. From what I gathered from a conversation with Toto a while back, he has struggled to settle here too, certainly in his first year, and you can imagine the frustrations of injury's have probably compounded that.

What exactly are we going to do with Nolan ? on 11:56 - Jan 27 with 1054 views | tonybied | Why do we constantly seem to have one player who is endlessly injured in the club? This has been going on for years. Adeyemi, Huws and now Nolan. Is this fairly normal at all clubs, it just seems odd to me?

Not for me, decent spells for us in some dire times , and for Shrewsbury one of the best in league 1.

We don't tend to do mutual terminations on contracts, do we? Cornell and Emmanuel got released under contract, but we were facilitating a move to another club, which presumably determined what proportion of their deals we ended up settling. Everyone else, no matter how distant from the first team we've just kept until their contract expired.
