We don't need to win three in a row though. Keep winning 2 out of 3 and will be in there at the end of the season. Although I would be a true believer that we're going up if we could manage to win more than a couple on the bounce!

They turned up and did enough but there’s absolutely no chance we’re going up this season. We’re cruising mid table and will need to start over in the summer. This team isn’t better than what Lambert had back in 2019. It will take a while for many to accept that, and while Cook was crud they still haven’t broken outside of mid table all season and as a group that’s simply not good enough for Ipswich in the third division.

Absolute tosh, in fact it's the same tosh you post every Saturday afternoon. Do you get any joy out of watching football, or do you even watch the matches? Maybe try the curling on BBC2.

This is the kind of stupidity i'm worried about in the summer. This must be trolling. If you put the slightest bit of thought into it you wouldn't post that rubbish.

"This team isn’t better than what Lambert had back in 2019". That's beyond ridiculous, both in terms of individual players & how they're now being coached, organised, picked & substituted.

Satisfied with that on 19:25 - Feb 12 with 1120 views | Radlett_blue | A solid performance against a rather unenterprising MK side. Town are much more solid at the back these days. We controlled the second half, although MK still had the better of the limited chances & it would have been rough justice if MK had scored with the injury time flurry of deal ball situations. Still not enough in and around the penalty area from Town, but an away draw to the 3rd best team in the league is OK. I reckon 80 points gives Town a good chance of the play-offs so 32 from 14 games required. Hard, but not impossible. We simply must win the next 2 home games.

‘This team isn’t better than what Lambert had back in 2019’ is right up there with Makins ‘smarmy’ comment as biggest load of waffle of the season.

Yep, always going to be an even game, they started very well but then once we got hold of the ball we looked good, just that final ball at times, right decision making the changes when he did and going two upfront, praying we'd win it late on which is something we rarely do unfortunately, really good sides turn the screw and win games very late on, it's this bit we need to get better at, but hey if you can't win the game then make sure you don't lose it as they say..
Satisfied with that on 19:47 - Feb 12 with 974 views | ArnieM | Our next two games are going to be anything but “ easy” or a dead cert 6 points. These teams will come to PR and park the bus. They’ll love us playing our nice possession footie in front of Walton. I ho0e we show a but more pace, and sharpness with our passing and do it the opponents half, not ours!

Interesting. Apart from Downes (who didn’t want to be here), I genuinely can’t name a player from last year’s team that is not a downgrade on what we have now. Feel free to enlighten me.
Satisfied with that on 20:06 - Feb 12 with 847 views | itfcjoe | We’ve got little margin for error and will need to walk a tightrope to get us there, but today was most definitely another step forwards in terms of both performance and the result. Needs to be followed up by two home wins to keep going forwards as just can’t afford to drop points to teams not in mix at P
