Trying to discredit a brave and inspirational man whilst he is trying to defend his country from being overrun by a fascist regime, is not in the interests of balance.
Especially as antisemites and Putin apologists are taking the story and twisting it to turn people against Zelensky and feed into Putin’s claim that he is de-nazifying Ukraine.

I sort of agree but can’t help but get annoyed at the hagiographic reception for every word he utters. And it’s not like there are any more than a couple of hundred people who read (and many magnitudes less who care) what I wrote so I’m not doing much to discredit him other than relaying a simple fact. | |
