EXACTLY the sort of personality who will thrive, grow and extra foot, gain an extra yard of pace and strain every sinew to ram any jeers, boos and hate from a former clubs fans back down their throats.

I wonder what our fans will do on Saturday?

Support the town whilst he watches from the bench.

Applaud him before the game.

Once the whistle is blown, he is on his own.

After the game, give him a clap.

I thought his off the pitch antics let him down and whether fans were right to give him grief or not, he would've been wiser to back off and let it go.

However, on the pitch, I never doubted his effort for us and actually think he has been our best finisher up front of the last few years. I don't intend any special welcome for him either way though.

Best thing fans can do is neither celebrate him nor boo him, just be completely nonplussed by him and treat him like any other of Barnsley's players. He's probably pumping himself up some big return, he'll be hugging his way around our squad and thinking its about him. Would deflate his ego somewhat if he realises nobody is bothered by him. He's barely a footnote in the context of this club.

As you say he is the sort that will find that extra level of sh1thousery if he gets boos.

I can almost see keogh coming in on sat to take away the personal touch between striker and defence. I dunno. I can just see norwood really bugging wolfy.

I look forward to the outrage and frothing at the mouth when he celebrates in front of the SBRL after receiving dogs abuse.

I reckon a red card for overcelebrating in front of the North Stand, whipping an iPhone out of his socks and sending a trolling tweet aimed at Town fans as part of it.

I reckon he’ll start on the bench, and they’ll bring him on in the 70th minute to try and rescue the team’s dignity. As he steps on the pitch they’ll already be 5-0 down anyway, so I wouldn’t mind him nicking one back. Just one though.

He will most definitely tell Barnsley to switch ends if they win the toss as he knows that will wind us all up…

As you have already said Norwood will be on the bench I suppose he will bug Wolfy by shouting things at him.

He might do. But at times with us he also had a bit of a tendency for being too busy being combative to actually play football.

I don't understand why we would boo any former player, unless they had signed for Norwich. Norwood fully deserves a round of applause.

I am intrigued to watch the match on Saturday. The 3-footed Norwood biting our players on their bums is bound to be sent off if the referee is half decent.

After the way Bradley Johnson, Connor Wickham, Louie Barrie and Matt Pennington all got one over us, it is bound to happen again, isn't it?

I don't know why more teams don't do that. Is there some sort of 'gentlemen's agreement' between clubs?

Hopefully our Sir Bobby stand fans , me included have learnt a lesson from winding up Nugent lots of times .Chopra when he was sent out to warm up when playing for Blackpool ? That ruined the atmosphere that day . Bolton forward made us pay last season I seem to remember and of course Will Keane for Wigan ! Much better to Support your team than jeer the opposition.

His effort on the pitch was never truly appreciated, and he was our best finisher and overall striker of the League One era, that's not in doubt.

The fact that he was our best finisher in his years at the club speaks volumes about the quality of our squad at that time even if our older fans did a best 3rd teir itfc team I'm sure would find a couple to keep him out from many years ago... deserves a round of applause and then support our team now, nothing more in my opinion
