Why? Because the ratio of men to women who use them is huge. A woman will receive up to a hundred likes/messages a day, regardless of their profile or perceived attractiveness.
Basically the top 5 percent of men are fighting for all of the women who basically have all of the choice and also having their self esteem boosted, which is why a lot of them use these sites. Often, they have no intention of messaging or meeting.
Better off just getting out there and meeting people organically. Doesn't have to be pubs or clubs either, could happen in a supermarket or a sports centre. Dress well, strike up a conversation, be friendly, nothing to lose. | |
