Don't know if its changed, but about 20 years ago, I had some Premium bonds, and they just sent you a cheque when you won.

They do email, if you have elected to receive emails. I'm stubbornly holding on to receiving a letter in the post as the option, feels more exciting to open an envelope to secure my future wealth (or £25 as you say).

Yep they do. As other have said if you're unsure use the NS&I app to check to see if you have won. From this month they have reduced total winning bonds by one but increased the chances of winning higher denominations of prizes.

Yep they do e-mail.....my niece managed to win £5k this week, she doesn't even have that much in there os incredible really. The rates must have gone up recently as we are ticking over a few winnings each month (£25s mainly with a couple of £100 prizes) but nothing like that win she had! |  |

Do you not use the app? I check every month using the app, they do email however.
I won £1050 this month which is 10x more than I have ever won before but win £50 most months now, average £75 before this month.
If you win the big prize though they come to your house the day before the draw is announced which is why it’s important you keep your details up to date |  | | |
