Plymouth have gone down in my estimation on 17:33 - Jan 16 with 4189 views | Sarge | After watching them at the weekend I’ve never wanted a team to crash and burn as much as I do Plymouth this season. This has just justified it.

Plymouth have gone down in my estimation on 17:49 - Jan 16 with 3926 views | DavoIPB | I thought Mumba was awful on Saturday. We kept him quiet until a lucky deflected goal in injury time. His control was poor and Davies didn't give him anything.
Plymouth have gone down in my estimation on 17:53 - Jan 16 with 3845 views | monkeymagic | My updated list of loathed other clubs : with a new entry at number 5 : Norwich Sheffield United Bolton West Ham Plymouth I can see a day when only Norwich are holding Plymouth off from the top spot.
Plymouth have gone down in my estimation on 17:54 - Jan 16 with 3841 views | Garv | I'm not sure how I feel about clubs 'lending' their facilities to other clubs just because they're a bit pally with them. It arguably defeats the idea of an away game. Ho-hum.

I don't think it's unusual, and I guess it's largely reciprocal. I remember when Phil Parkinson managed Colchester he was very clear about the team's travel plans for away games, and they often involved stopping at a club half-way on long trips to put in a couple of hours training and break up the journey. I mean when Town go to Bolton, for example, (or Gillingham to Barrow) they surely must get some exercise somewhere between leaving home and running out for the warm-up.

Looks a lot more like an away team looking to make the best use of whatever is available to them. No difference with a team that can afford it flying to an away match and staying overnight in a top hotel while another takes a coach up on the morning of the match. If they had used West Ham's facilities instead, we wouldn't have reacted at all. If it had been a Fulham loanee who had scored the equaliser we wouldn't have batted an eyelid. No problem with this from nodge nor Plymouth. We should look to do the same with a club like Plymouth when the boot is on the other foot in the future.

I assumed that was an overexcited Plymouth fan, but the article didnt make it clear. But to be honest, who of us hasn't whacked his willy out in celebration at a late equaliser? Scenes.

The way it was reported it sounded like it could have been a member of the Plymouth staff!

This does go on quite a bit, where clubs travelling a long distance avoid the long journey on the day and stop over and arrange to use a nearby clubs training facilities. Whether there is any cost I don't know, but I would expect there to be, if only nominal. It does no harm to foster good relations with clubs not directly competing against you. I think we all had hoped, or are hoping McK can use his connections to Man Utd or even Spurs with regards to loanees.

The same Mumba who scored a cracker and who stopped Davis getting in behind, virtually all game?

I thought Mumba looked their best player, looked clearly too good for league 1, very dangerous going forward, and we shifted Morsy over there to try and stop him.
