Maybe I just have a different thing that I want to get out of football. But letting it get to me and being so upset/quick to make this place a depress-fest just isn’t for me.

5 years is vaguely sensible for a big VC to see some payback. All bets are off in football though. It's essentially the least traditional and guaranteed investment vehicle.
