The ref gave them everything all night. Surprised he said that.

I’ve read the EADT but not actually heard Coleman. If the report is correct, he’s had a right old moan up - not for the first time. A guy hissed off, I’d say.

His team lost - get over it.

A poor man’s Paul Cook.

I thought the ref and linesmen gave some awful decisions against us.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

Jackson with a great tackle and the ball obviously, like SO obviously, bouncing off their player when Burgess made a tackle.

The only surprise is that he didn't book Morsy who again is showing so much maturity in his play.

Here's his comments - think they are probably coloured a bit by the red which I think he has a point for. The ref isn't up with play and is looking at it from the same angle I had in the SBR where it looked like a red. Looking at the highlights from the side though it looks very unlikely that Clarke catches up with that ball and even if does he's not in a shooting position.

The Burgess booking is one of the worst yellow cards I have ever seen given - he just cleanly kicked the ball, but the No23 screamed out loud and the ref fell for it hook, line and sinker.

What a lazy manager he is. Didn't get off his bench all game and leaving it to his assistant. Time he retires

I can see why he's disappointed with the red, but that aside the officials were terrible and gave loads their way that they shouldn't have done. Their time wasting first half was shocking and he's bleating that the ref asked them to hurry up? What a tw@t.

Ladapo was manhandled all night and got diddly squat.

Still can't work out what the yellow for Burgess actually was.

One of their players (Mancini?) was trying to tell the ref he got elbowed when he just fell over.

Horrid team.

Yep, there were loads of soft free kicks given their way that weren't being given to us, and a few times where they got throw in calls just horribly wrong. It was like they felt sorry for Accrington. That Coleman is moaning because they didn't get even more in their favour smacks of desperation. They really are an awful side, hope they drop out of League 1.

I totally disagree with your comment about not catching the ball. Clarke clearly caught the ball and lifted it over the keeper if the kerper didnt catch him he was clean through with an open goal, woulda been 3 0 clarke instead a stunning free kick from edwards. Accy are just bitter for no reason

If the ref had given half the fouls against Ladapo wed still be saying Freddie was hard done by
Pretty sure there was a moment where their defender had him in a headlock. A more petulant player would have sulked and reacted to being continually fouled and nothing given

There was a penalty shout for us in the first half, I think the ref got it right though, Ladapo was looking for it.

The one I remember was in the second half where, once again, their defender was all over Ladapo.

Very salty. Complaining that the referee won't let you blatantly time waste literally from minute 1 is an odd look. The officials were crap, as usual, but in both directions. A couple of the throw in decisions in particular were laughable. I had a good view of one in the first half where Burgess played the ball off their player and they got the throw.

Do think the red was a bit OTT given the circumstances and it didn't look like Clarke was getting to the ball. Don't think there would've been too many complaints from anyone if he just pulled out a yellow and got on with it

The way that dinosaur sets his team up is an absolute disgrace. We got zero all night and they were time wasting after 30 seconds.

I hope they get relegated and disappear into non league where they belong.

Awful, awful team.

The whole club has a massive chip on their shoulder. They’re an awful team that play awful football and rely wholly on dirty tactics and time wasting. They deserved nothing last night, got nothing, and I hope they’ll continue to get nothing as they drop back into League Two.

Putting aside whether it was a DOGSO or not - if a defender had made that challenge on Clarke, would anyone be surprised at a red? It's late, reckless and out of control.

The ball was closer to the six yard than the 18 yard line. Would have done well to go out by the corner flag from there….

How about you focus on changing the things you can control, like the back four being completely flat for the first goal, Freddie’s chance and Clarke’s run for the free?

That had a bigger impact on the result than the red for sure.
