Any brave gamblers willing to risk a few quid 15:32 - May 16 with 1648 views | Illinoisblue | On Sheff Weds making it past Peterborough? Seen more than one comment on owlstalk saying 0-4 is a “nightmare lead” which is quite a take. General view seems to be if they can get two back by half time they’ll get it done. It could happen I suppose but I don’t see Posh failing to score.

They are only 16/1 to “qualify”…. on 15:43 - May 16 with 1572 views | Bloots | …seems a bit skinny to me. 4-0 at 90 mins is 22/1 and they are 28/1 to get promoted, those odds are a bit better I suppose. I’d feel guilty if I won though.

Any brave gamblers willing to risk a few quid on 15:47 - May 16 with 1559 views | The_Flashing_Smile | It's possible... but there's another team involved in all this, and the Posh manager will, I'm sure, be making them realise the job isn't done yet. The only way Weds turn this around, realistically, is with an early goal or two. So I'd be telling the Posh players to keep it tight and frustrate them. That's all they need to do from their perspective. All the onus is on Wednesday.

Can't see it being 100-1 mate, that's a goal less than every minute.

So there was a year when a Nigerian team needed to win like 70 - 0 to gain promotion. They won 70-0 (or whatever it was) I'll google the story and post up in a minute. Absolutely no bribes were paid, of course not! Edit - the full story https://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/jul/09/nigeria-scandalous-scorelines [Post edited 16 May 2023 15:55]

Any brave gamblers willing to risk a few quid on 16:08 - May 16 with 1421 views | Churchman | They’ve no chance, with their strength lying up front I reckon Peterborough will score at least once. Wednesday may well win, but they’ll not overturn that lead. Mind you I reckoned auto promotion for us was well and truly over in March and Plymouth/Wednesday could crack open the sparkly stuff and polish up the open top bus. There is a reason I don’t gamble, aside from not being interested in it!

Not at 16/1 100/1 maybe I don't think they can stop The Posh scoring so theyll need at least 5 goals to get through and they just dont seem to have anything like that in them. I'm going for a 3-1 Weds win. [Post edited 16 May 2023 16:19]

Any brave gamblers willing to risk a few quid on 16:23 - May 16 with 1358 views | ketton_itfc | The thing is if they get an early goal and the fans get behind them and then say another before half time then it could be on. Depends how the fans are from the off. And we saw for ourselves how they can turn a game. Also Posh can have their moments of self implosion so I'd say it's unlikely but not beyond the realms. If the price is right on Betfair i'll be sticking 20 quid on Weds to qualify. If I was Moore I'd be getting that ball constantly into the Posh box and play Bannan further up the pitch. Should be an interesting watch either way.
Any brave gamblers willing to risk a few quid on 16:24 - May 16 with 1354 views | blueasfook | Would need a miracle, and considering the way they capitulated in the away leg I imagine the stuffing has been knocked out of them in terms of confidence. Who knows though, stranger things have happened, and bigger leads have been overturned in the past. IF somehow Wednesday do go through, they'd deserve to win the final after that comeback.

Any brave gamblers willing to risk a few quid on 16:46 - May 16 with 1269 views | J2BLUE | It's a terrible price. They might do it, but 16/1? No thanks. If we look at what Wednesday fans have been saying all season it's very likely Moore takes the pragmatic play the normal way approach for at least the first half and try to get a couple of goals back that way. The last thing he will want is to go all in early doors and have that big crowd turn for a big chunk of the game. The best bets I have found from a quick look: Most goals in second half - 2.1 Paddy Power 8+ Sheff Wed corners - 2.88 Sky (had 5 in first leg and have to go for it at some point) 6-2 Sheff Wed - 225/1 BetVictor, 200/1 Betfair Sportsbook (small bet, purely with a view to cashing out. Can't see them keeping Peterborough out, Don't think this will get anywhere near but a smarter play than 16/1 on Wed qualifying) Can't see odds yet but Sheff Wed are 1.25 to have most corners so if there are corner handicap markets something like -2.5 would be bet of the night.
