i don't think i would be surprised. Thought he improved massively during the season but i thought Hirst was a real step up from him.
Unless they have an eye on a couple of strikers, but i can't see us spending fees on 2 strikers this summer. |  | | |

Personally I don't think Freddie will be going anywhere at Rotherham he got double figures and only played till Xmas as he told them he wished to leave.
Also we will need 3 strikers if one gets injured or suspended we don't want Jackson or Adhadme as our back up striker . | | | |

As Phil has intimated, Simms isn't going to be 3.5m that the papers are reporting.
I envisage paying £2m+ each for Simms and Hirst. Sell Ladapo even for £500k and you've futureproofed your forward line for £3.5m - pocket change at Champ level. | | | |

In the system we play how do you keep 2 'big money' arrivals happy in that position? You would think both would want some guarantee that they'll be starting which, unless we change the system isn't likely. There will be lots of rotation but will that be enough for these guys?

I don't think Leicester hold any aces re. Hirst deal. I don't see a long line of clubs clamouring to pay seven-figure fees for him this summer.

There'll be plenty of rotation in the Championship, especially against teams with different styles. Both players can have a major say on our squad. If both stay fit, they'll both feature in all 46 games, it's just that some will be for 65 mins and some will be for 25-30 mins. | | | |

There's always fighting for your position regardless of what league you're in
Surely if you want to be your best self then you put yourself up against the best at that time in being .....if any player isn't up for it then by my estimation he's not the right man for the job

I think people overthink the whole keeping players happy thing. KM will sort that like he did with Hirst and Ladapo last season.
