I presume we’ve made the assessment based on not only now but later. He has been more or less fit for 6 months but hasn’t been considered good enough for a place even in the squad. If that’s still the case today, that presumably doesn’t change in Jan or next summer unless of course he has a rip up season on loan. | |

Yes or perhaps use it to hold Charlton to ransom a bit if he's doing well, and demand some sort of fee to make it perm. Always good to have the option of a recall, nothing to lose by having that in there on our side. A la Simpson. | | | |

JJ loan.. few injuries before despite young age.
Camara.. groin op x 3 now isn't it?
Still amazed but thankful Luongo stayed fit. He had knee. Ankle and hamstring problems prior to joining. |  |

Think he was just a mistake, a rushed deal on transfer deadline day.....
Compare this to Jack Taylor or George Hirst or Leif Davis withhow long they were tracked for before being signed:
Basically he first heard about the move 'yesterday'.
He was fit through most of second half of last season and didn't get close tot he bench for whatever reason | |

We also signed Leif Davis and Freddie Ladapo in that window, so it was far from all bad. You're never going to get a 100% hit rate with transfers, for different reasons both Camara and Ahadme weren't bad signings at the time, it's with hindsight that they don't look great and much of that is down to bad luck with injuries for both players.
