Tomas Kalas 18:15 - Aug 3 with 4227 viewsitfcjoe

Nigel Pearson has said that he hasn't spoken to Tomas Kalas in weeks and that it's very unlikely he re signs. Available on a free and was a big money Mark Ashton signing - wonder if he’d be in our range - left footed CB

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Would be ideal, but.... on 18:24 - Aug 3 with 4013 viewsBloots

....I expect he'll end up in Germania or Dutchland.

Ashton connection maybe. Hladky a fellow Czech. Stranger things have happened.

I’d always thought he was more of right sided defender though.

...he's right-footed, so not that ideal in that respect.

Interesting one - hasn't seemed to quite live up to the potential, think that move to Bristol was the wrong one really which is easy to say in hindsight.

Given who we've been going for (and not got) you'd think our initial choices at CB are players who are a bit younger than him but who have a bit of Champ experience. Imagine the next bracket of players on the list are probably ones like Kalas who are beyond the point of good future resale potential but are solid Championship operators.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

"Asked if the window was still open for the Czech Republic international to return, he jokingly responded: "Well if it is, it’s a bit draughty!"

What a weird comment?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

I presume he means it's cold between them and Kalas?

They have another 25 page thread which is basically revelling in Lee Johnson failing as a manager

A guy who played almost 200 times for them and was manager for 4 and a half years

Imagine if we had a Jim Magilton thread that was regularly bumped ffs

That would be leaving it a bit late, giving ourselves 23 hours to sign someone. Would look a bit like a panic buy.

Yes, but for them abroad is anything outside of an area bound by the M4, M5, Mendips and Cotswolds.
