He was playing the full prick with Woolf (I think) prior to the corner coming in; following his injury, he was off the pitch, and then manoeuvered himself back onto the pitch to receive treatment, at a time when we were in full effect (which, to be fair, was most of the game...)

His initial reaction when he went down did look a serious injury but he was so close to the line he should have been taken off for treatment.
I can’t understand why, when players are injured they are not immediately stretchered off.
If they then jump off the stretcher they stay off for 10 minutes whilst the game continues.
It’s not as bad in the Championship as it is in the Premier League but it would stop players rolling around like they have been shot and then jumping up to sprint in the next passage of play. | | | |
