That would be comedy gold. Please let this happen.

You just know it's going to be a comedy appointment because that's what they do ... or will have to do

Who in their right mind would take this basket case ( Club and Owner) on ?

Chansiri by his own admission isn't throwing anymore money at it until their fan base start to kiss his backside .....resulting in the inevitable

An awful man, and his style of football makes McCarthy seem like a great innovator.

They will struggle to make a decent appointment whilst Chansiri remains the owner. Not unlike us under Evans, any manager is doomed to failure before they start.

Only the desperate will be applying for that job.

Him or Megson would be hilarious.

Interesting thread on Owls talk about Neil Warnock and whether the fans would have him with his United links.

This answer made me smile, very pedantic

"In an ideal world would I want Warnock ? ….Never

If my life depended on choosing a manager to keep us up I would choose Warnock every time"

I only read the first page but this was enough for me

"Why would anyone want a pig who has previously said his dream job would be to manage us just so he could take us down? "

Superb

Should never have been allowed to work in football again following his antics at Boston United.

Stevenage wouldn’t need to replace Evans as he’d be back by the end of month.

Can you be clearer here please?

Are you referring to Lambert, McCarthy or both?

Is it going to be like in mathematics when you times a negative number by a negative number and get a positive result?

If nothing else, the press conference where Chansiri says that Steve Evans was the only man for the job will be comedy gold.

And, once it all goes horribly wrong, the war of words between them will be something to behold.

Hope they pick themselves off the floor, tbh... We've already played them at Hillsborough and taken the 3pts... If they start grinding out a few points here are there, they could be doing us a favor as the season moves on..

Rather ironic that managerless Sheffield Wednesday go up against the man they drove out in the summer tomorrow.

Hope 'Udders smash 'em.

But why would it be hilarious? I'm struggling to see why some on here have a problem with Sheffield Weds.

Didn't he dress up in beach attire at Leeds away a few season ago? If so I wonder if he'll do the same if Wednesday win a game

might have something to the coin throwing so the ref and linesman were sh1t scared to flag the blatant off side goal. also the disgusting fans taunting sunderland fans with a pic of the poor lad who died of cancer. then said fans said they thought it was enjoyable banter to that. not even banter but enjoyable banter

forensic experts say footers and spruces fingerprints were not found at the scene after the weekends rows

Dear oh dear what a sad post. One fan is a moron and the other fans raise thousands for a good cause in response to the morons actions. Did you miss that?

The disgusting taunting was just two bell ends. And in fairness, other Wednesday fans have raised thousands for the poor lads family.
