Thank God it wasn't a meaningless friendly against Gibraltar or something like that to soften the irritation if anything....being facetious aside, I'm so pleased that K-Mac has been building a squad of not necessarily stars...yet... but cover...excellent cover over the last few seasons to negate these expected issues...which will come up again during the Asian and African cups....and Morsys addiction to yellow cards.

International fixtures in the season really grind my gears. Clubs pay the wages, they should be the priority. Why should rubbish uncompetitive internationals get in the way of the rhythm of the season?

Play the meaningful internationals and competitions at the seasons end. Qualifiers one season, tournament the next. Scrap friendlies. Sorted.

6 weeks for full recovery when I just googled but can get back playing a bit quicker. Probably one where it depends on person and severity etc.

The 'Boot Camp' docu series (which I highly recommend btw) featured a player who regularly dislocated his shoulder - on one occasion the physio clicked it back into place on the pitch, & the player then carried on playing!
