This is obviously insane to even suggest…

But the FA Cup final is May 25th… championship playoff final is May 26th… WTF would the league and FA do if a championship team get to both finals?!

We put our second string out for the FA Cup final and the first team for the play offs.

Simple.

Could they rejig the playoff games?

Not going to happen of course. Like we'll need the playoffs 😂

League 1 and 2 finals are weekend before… likely that’s when the second legs would be for championship…

I really hope it happens, just to see the cock up

Obviously if we are in both the playoff final and the FA Cup final, it's more of a problem!

They have been for a few years now.

Just like 1992, I reckon we will face the winners of Liverpool and Bristol Rovers in the fifth round.

Due to Euro 2024, I think all domestic football needs to be done by end of May this year

What if the two teams that reach the play-off final also reach the FA Cup final? One big showdown for the FA Cup and a place in the Premier League!

I've backed all of the top 4 in Champ to win the cup each way (i.e. to win or lose in the final) at silly odds.....can see that happening but it'd likely be Leicester out of anyone!

All 4 got a decent draw tonight where will all be favourites to qualify

Play just once. The winner gets promoted, losers ribbons go on the cup.

It's unlikely of course, but it's not impossible when you consider that a few of Ipswich, Southampton, Leeds, WBA and Cov will likely be in the last 16 of the FA Cup, and 1 of those highly likely to be in the playoff final.

Great FA cup draw for us. Home was a priority, but to have a game where we can heavily rotate and potentially bed in new signings (if not cup tied), while still having such a good chance to progress is ideal. Not to mention the additional revenue of a full house, £120k prize money and a potential 5th round tie to come. Who knows, if the draw is kind we could feasibly find ourselves in the 1/4's.

They would have to move one for us.

We'll have to hope Hirst is fit again by then to make at least one of the games. And Williams will have to play one whether he's ill or not.

Two mini-matches.

First half for the cup. Second half for promotion

One game, winner picks which cup they want to take from the day, and it’s to be unveiled to the fans in a gender reveal style on pitch party.
