Did he get a letter apologising for allowing Gnonto's offside goal against Middlesbrough?

Feck him. All he's achieving with this is making himself look ridiculously salty and lacking in any class.

They beat us and Leicester twice this season. Outside of those 4 games we picked up 94 points to their 78. If he genuinely thinks they've been hard done by then he's an absolute prune.

And in those games against us and Leicester they did pretty well out of the refs. As they have done on many other occasions this season too.

I’m confident that if it was all examined we’d have probably benefited more from VAR than Leeds.

How can he not see how ridiculous that statement is? Always had him down as quite a classy manager even when at Norwich. That's what pressure does to people I guess.

Add in the goal Leicester should have had at ER - had that goal have stood, Leicester would have won that.

So that's at least 5 points to add to the 6 they finished behind us.

And if we are going to play that game, we'll have the 2 extra points from Norwich at home (both Rowe's goals offside), 2 points for the penalty that wasn't given on Omari at Hudds, the point away to Norwich as it wasn't a foul for the free-kick they scored, at least 1 if not 3 for the two shockers that were PNE's goals at the away game.

And they're just the ones that spring to mind - so 5 off of Leeds, another 6 to us and the 6 we finished ahead of them. 17 points.

Faker's going to come up with a better excuse than that.

Feeling the pressure by the looks of it. And so he should with the side he’s got. It’s a ridiculously talented and expensive squad for this level.

Just hold it together for one more game, love, then you can go to pieces.

Honestly, if you look at the number of clear penalties we were denied, Daniel, you'll see that you're talking out of you Arsch, and that you were very lucky to only finish 6 (six) points behind us and not double figures.

But do hold it together mate. Just one more game.

With the squad that he has at his disposal he should have achieved automatic promotion. He didn’t and that failure is on him. He’s simply trying to deflect responsibility and shift all his failings onto the refs and VAR.

VAR is the brand new scapegoat.

Which makes an abolsute nonsence of the EFL Awards being conducted before the end of the season.

2/3 of the manager candidates could be unemployed this time next week. Should have been McKenna, Cifuentes and Rohl.

I think he’s trying to concoct a “the world’s against us” mentality to get the crowd fired up for second leg. Hope it works because his team need all the help they can get. Scum looked brighter and sharper (albeit without really threatening)

Still hoping for a Leeds West Brom final, would be fantastic if Leeds get decisions against them through VAR calls

The danger is it gives his players a get out to not deliver. A bit like all the moaning about tiredness and fixture lists from those near the top. It can become self fulfilling.

True. And from yesterday, that’s a Leeds team who look like they would welcome an excuse. They are in desperate need of a Morsy or Downes to get them over the line.

That's management I'm afraid. Get it wrong and it's bye bye. Not many owners are prepared to wait. Fans get frustrated, voice their opinion from the stands and whether you are good or not it's exit stage left. Think I am right in saying Sir Bobby was kicked out by Fulham and had it not been for the Cobbold's in his early years may have gone the same way from Town. McKenna will currently have suitors for his services for what he has achieved in such a short time. Nobody expected it so his status has gone from an unknown to him being plastered over national press and Sky t.v. Whilst I in no way am putting his achievements down it has to be remember that every part of ITFC were pulling in the same direction. Owners, all levels of management, backroom staff, players and fans. You don't always get that. Either players resent a new guy coming in or the fans hate the owners, or the players are not happy with the fans or visa versa. Or the players don't get on with each other or one is a disruptive influence. Town had none of that. Players seemed happy when they were subbed, especially like Chappers when Sarmiento came on and scored against Saints. However good you are you are only as good as your last game. There will no doubt be times even for McKenna when things don't go right. As has been said we must prepare ourselves to lose more that half a dozen games in the Premier League. But we must also remember where we came from and but for those in charge at PR now we would still be bobbing around in League One.

I suppose all QPR goals were offside and numerous pens were turned down. Added to that they didn't beat the Budgies at Carrot Road. So much for a multi million pound squad. Perhaps Farke caught German measles off Klopp.

Yes, McK will have made mistakes in his own mind and because football is all about opinions I’m sure we can all think of times where we questioned a team selection, a substitution or perhaps even a player bought or let go.

But probably the few mistakes we think he’s made are in hindsight.

I’d love to ask him the question, put over in the right way, “we’ve had an awesome couple of seasons, for which we’re eternally grateful and in no way is this any criticism whatsoever. You’ve said that we won’t get everything right all of the time, of course nobody can, so what would you say are 3 mistakes you have made this season?”

Would love to know his answer to that . .
