I had to triple flush this morning. The first one went round the bend on the first go, the second on the second, and the two biggest ones went round together on the final attempt.
Here's wishing the T*ries a similarly successful final flush, and a perpetually clean pan thereafter.
With those numbers you'd predict Jenrick and Badenoch would pick up the majority of her votes pushing them further ahead. Wasn't sure they'd announce the actual quantity of votes. Stride or Tugenhadt to go next. I would imagine they'll want one of jenrick or Badenoch up against Cleverly in the members vote,so not sure how that will play out.
It's great isn't it? Last time I noticed such an improvement was when Johnson went and the airwaves weren't dominated by his idiocy. Which itself was a bit like when Trump disappeared after losing the presidency. These people bring nothing to public service or the greater public good - just endless, vacuous self-promotion and electioneering.
There was a poll in The Telegraph I think it was this morning that has Badenoch trouncing every candidate in a head-to-head.
Jenrick is predicted to make the final 2, with Cleverly a close 3rd.
Whoever wins is unlikely to be the candidate to face Starmer in 2029/2030 either, with Farage still hanging round like the stale egg he is.
I'm guessing Jenrick or Badenoch would bring back the reform voters and Cleverley more the Lib Dem votes...how they manage to get both sets back,i don't know...but if they did that soft underbelly Labour have on votes could be a problem.
Your first sentence will likely mean the MPs stitch it up so KB is not in the final two.
They have changed their leadership election rules again.
MP’s only reduce the list to 4, responsibility then rests with the membership. Think they want to avoid the list being reduced to 2, one then dropping out and a new leader elected without a vote.

Yeah, but they're the natural party of government.

Hadn’t appreciated that. The Con Home were still presenting it as a head to head this morning

I also suffer from floaters.
The Bernoulli equation explains this....
P + ½ρv² + ρgh = constant.
where: P represents the pressure of the fluid, ρ is the density of the fluid, v is the velocity of the fluid, g is the acceleration due to gravity, ℎ is the height of the fluid relative to the reference point.
This is of course moot because the floater is not considered in the formula.
Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

I remember using Bernoulli drives for data storage in my early years of 'work'.
I tried to apply this in the toilet, but I flew off and made a mess of myself and the wall.
