Surprised it's so low down the league, but an excellent deal for all parties. Barnet have got themselves a very decent keeper for their level.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

I must say, I was expecting him to go to League One, I guess it guarantees him game time.

I think you've got to be sure he's going to get games, otherwise it's really pointless. So League 2 is a good starting point I think. If he has a storming season, then he can potentially have a higher class loan next season or try his luck in the Town set up, depending on what division we're in. It was a bit of a shame for him not to get something similar to this last season I think, and the key was surely just to get him some league game time.

If I was MA, I'd have been looking to include a January recall clause as well.

If he tears it up between now and then with Barnet, I'm sure there'll be L1 clubs who'd be happy to take him Jan-May on the basis of guaranteeing him gametime.

Quite right, and it doesn't really make too much difference whether he's playing in L2 or L1 in all honesty, as long as he's starting and in a good environment.

This was exactly my thoughts. I'd have said League One level was more suited....
