I think you've got to be sure he's going to get games, otherwise it's really pointless. So League 2 is a good starting point I think. If he has a storming season, then he can potentially have a higher class loan next season or try his luck in the Town set up, depending on what division we're in. It was a bit of a shame for him not to get something similar to this last season I think, and the key was surely just to get him some league game time. |  | | |

If I was MA, I'd have been looking to include a January recall clause as well.
If he tears it up between now and then with Barnet, I'm sure there'll be L1 clubs who'd be happy to take him Jan-May on the basis of guaranteeing him gametime. | |

Quite right, and it doesn't really make too much difference whether he's playing in L2 or L1 in all honesty, as long as he's starting and in a good environment. |  | | |
