Don’t mind it personally, would have liked to have seen some of them arguing with eachother against Charlton

Keeps trying to buy freekicks. Just feel with him sometimes if the gap doesn't open for a shot his next trick is to try and get a freekick. Great if it works. But some refs won't buy it.

This ref has been good and let a lot go. No way was he giving that. Kipre just did the same. This ref isn't giving them [Post edited 4 Nov 2025 21:08]

Yep. And he was right. Jaden is so good but he was looking for free kicks that he wasn't going to get.

I mean his off the ball, pressing work is so tireless and selfless (and always has been) that this is not a concern for me! Top pro, these things happen in charged moments - he should have got a foul and (admittedly wrongly) got frustrated with the ref rather than tracking back. As I say though, his usual defensive work is excellent

Him and Clarke looked so 1 dimensional tonight. Cut inside,, run into a group of players. Lose the ball. Egeli on the other hand has the defender not knowing which way he will go.

Have a go at the half a dozen players with no brilliance first, eh? Philogene saved us a point tonight. Why the hell is he being picked on? We have so many players who are literally incapable of scoring for Town. Why pick on the one who manages it? Am I the only one who values goals?!

Its so weird to me that people suggest this. His hard work off the ball, and ball winning skills, are one of his greatest strengths! Its just so wide of the mark

Our captain just isn’t a leader. Which is obviously bad anyway but when he’s replacing Morsy.. it’s disastrous

I was shouting for him to sort it out but he left it to other players. He may not be leadership material

Thought Leif Davis' absence was noticeable, when we got high up the pitch on the LW tonight. He runs/false runs can really create a yard of space and a bit of distraction for Philogene or Clarke to operate in.... We went through Clarke a lot , when he came on. Egelli in acres on the right hand side.

He also isn't very good. Was lucky to get away with one again today where he was far too soft and let the ball run on to the attacker. He recovered well but he has a couple of them a game. Had one in the first half at QPR as well. I think we largely played well today, certainly did enough to win the game and looked better going forward, but that defensive unit really puts the fear of god in to me. They seem to have so many brain farts.

I know we shouldn't look back but can you imagine Sam Morsy, hell even Luke Chambers letting that happen on the pitch. I certainly can't.

He is a poor, poor captain who at the moment can't even lead by example. We are often put under pressure when he gives the ball away, which is far too often. How can you inspire and motivate your team, when you can't get the basics right yourself? Poor appointment and we're suffering because of it. Samy's influence on the squad mentality can not be overestimated. A generational captain.
