People keep saying this and I agree, they have a squad full of great players, but with the heat and these grounds/pitches, who knows.

ALso there seems to be something brewing up in camp from the Kante/Mbappe non-handshake the other day.......They can always implode themselves.

I can easily see the French coming a little unstuck in their group, especially if they end up having their traditional meltdown.

Based on the results I've predicted, Australia sneak into the R32 having picked up just 2pts from the group stage. There are clearly going to be some fairly decent rewards for failure this time out.

I did the guardian tool and came out with Portugal beating France in the final.

Spain and Brazil out in the semis. Japan, England, Argentina and Norway in the quarters.

Switzerland, Colombia, turkey, Senegal, Germany and the three hosts in the 16.
