Realyl? Based on his music or the fact that he won't buy Evans out?

I hope you have gone for the Friday - on the assumption that we won't have a Friday night match unless we get promoted this season!!

I have a cousins wedding in Liverpool on the Sunday so that was the only option - hoping ITFC have a game on the way up there for the Saturday!

We will 100% have an away game that weekend.

Ed Sheeran on 13:13 - Sep 27 with 4643 views | dickie | He's never been "cool" but he's very successful for a reason. I remember supporting him at The Steamboat when he'd just signed his big deal and I remarked that he was a ginger a Craig David. He's much more than that now, he definitely knows what he's doing even if a lot of what he does is very commercial saccharine pop. Not my cup of tea but there's no doubting his abilities, and he's a town fan! | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Ed Sheeran on 13:15 - Sep 27 with 4630 views | Bueller | I guess you like what you like but £85 a ticket? I saw Liam Gallagher for half of that this summer and Arctic Monkeys was £60 odd. Lot of money to charge when most of his fans are under the age of 18.
Ed Sheeran on 13:15 - Sep 27 with 4628 views | LimitlessBlue | I did, he is well cool man! - seriously though, he has done bloody well for himself and performing the way he does, I am a big fan.

I was about to buy some, clicked through as far as adding in my card details then realised that 2 tickets was going to cost £170 which has put me right off. Would still like to go, but cannot justify that sort of price
Ed Sheeran on 14:09 - Sep 27 with 4465 views | ITFC_Forever | Yep, I've got some for the Friday. Those moaning about the price have no idea how much it costs (in money and man-power) to put on shows of that scale.

is it hatred though? I know from a personal point of view, I think he is OK, but people (and media) seem to make out like he is a music god. If you say he's OK, people look at you like you have killed their cat. Also, if he picks his nose its on the "showbiz round up" on Capital radio...… However good on him for what he has done. I definitely wouldn't say I hate him, just don't want to see him in concert...…...

Exactly, very hefty. You could have even had some decent seats at the AJ fight last weekend for £60 each. So something of that scale for considerably less puts it into perspective also.

I am not naive to it mate, but like I said Liam Gallagher at Finsbury Park was a big effort and still less than £50. Look at the spectacle at Wembley for AJ at the weekend, still a range of tickets for less than £85. So yes I do know what I am talking about. [Post edited 27 Sep 2018 14:22]

£85 is still a bit steep compared to gigs I’ve been to in the past That said - this will be the first time I’ve basically been able to walk there and haven’t had to fanny around to either make sure I make the last train or get a hotel for the night, so that definitely balances out

Very fair that. I was not knocking anyone before, spend your money how you like. But as you seem to agree, it is very steep compared to other gigs and that is plain to see. I would also argue for a 'homecoming gig' seems excessive.
Ed Sheeran on 15:02 - Sep 27 with 4271 views | shoopdelang | Not at that price. I guess if you are a proper fan you don't mind paying it but come on that is steep. And I get around...
Ed Sheeran on 15:09 - Sep 27 with 4244 views | floridablue | out of interest, how many tickets were up for sale on each night? wouldn't it have made more sense to hold it at portman rd and sell out at least 2 nights.

Suggestions of 45k per date. £75 x 45k x 3 = cha ching!!! Hence not at Portman road
