Excellent journalist. Really good writer and always balanced, fair and thoughtful in his analysis.

I remember when he started - think we were on a pre season tour of Holland with Jewell? He's been brilliant ever since and used social media really well. Appreciate his good humour too. Has become part of the club really!

The Ham-Watson dream team is the media team we've always deserved. Both are brilliant.

Andy Warren is also a good guy. Went to school with him.

Truly impaired.

He’s much better now than when he started, but yes, he is very good now and usually gets it right.

I like Warren, the EADT content has gone up a notch since he joined.

I liked the old skool guy before DD.

Can't remember his name for the life of me. Writes about golf now I think.

That's the fella, covered Town for years. Was almost part of the furniture at PR.

Garnett use to cover local golf when I played to an ok standard and may still cover it. Lovely bloke.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Totally agree. I would also add Brenner Woolley to that list. I thought that his commentary of the Swansea game was outstandingly good.

I'll have to give him another go.

He started out trying to make a point and a name for himself that seemed a bit forced and populist so I generally ignored him. But that was a few years back.

They're both good though they still often do this thing where they'll think of a type of metaphor and then try and cram their thoughts on the match/recent ITFC developments around it which comes across quite forced and clumsy.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Did Neil Manning cover Town? Don’t like him. He wouldn’t walk when I had him plum LBW at John Players in a game against the EADT. Tosser.

Like a Norfolk orgy, it’s all relative. Much better than his predecessor and one thing I like is he is balanced, doesn’t seem to have an agenda which can only be a good thing.

Personally wouldn’t have said his writing was exceptional, particularly in comparison to his national counterparts but maybe that’s the difference between them and a local hack. Does a good job though. As I said balance is appreciated by me, don’t want a blue tinted town fan in that role, nor a negative Nigel churning out divisive stories every week.

If he was a player in the MM era he would be Jay Tabb. Solid and reliable, perhaps won’t be fully appreciated until he’s gone.
