Who wants to have Islamic terrorism?
If you want to follow that cause and effect even further, we can't throw our weight around the world trying to dominate other countries, cultures and people for our own sakes without inviting a backlash. We can't arm certain regimes and not others. We can't arm terrorists one decade and then just leave them to it. We can't discriminate against certain races and religion more than others and not expect a response etc. etc.
I'm not a religious man (far from it) but there's a lot of inherent sense in doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. Also "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
Until we have a much better outlook and record towards people around the world and in our own country, we don't have a leg to stand on "fighting back". There's no justification for violence on either side but the onus is for those in power to talk and try and resolve issues not ignore, worsen or even profit from them. | |
